Sam Bush is a true American music legend and is considered an originator of progressive bluegrass music. With 3 Grammy wins, 16 Grammy nominations, too many IBMA awards to count and an Americana Music Association Lifetime Achievement Award under his belt, he continues to lead the charge in improvised string music.
The Father of Newgrass and King of Telluride has long since established himself as roots royalty, revered for both his solo and sideman work, which includes time with Harris, Lyle Lovett, and Béla Fleck. Americana Music Association awarded Bush the Lifetime Achievement Award for Instrumentalist. Punch Brothers, Steep Canyon Rangers, and Greensky Bluegrass are just a few present-day bluegrass vanguards among so many musicians he’s influenced. His performances are annual highlights of the festival circuit, with Bush’s joyous perennial appearances at the town’s famed bluegrass fest earning him the title, “King of Telluride.”

Doom Flamingo is a six-headed synthwave beast with a Jekyll and Hyde element to the songwriting. Top Gun guitar riffs and Miami Beach poolside lounge-vibes, are all at once contrasted with eerie darksynth soundscapes reminiscent of old John Carpenter films.
Doom Flamingo came together organically through friendships and past collaborations in their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. The sextet features dynamic vocalist, Kanika Moore, alongside a powerhouse of musicians including bassist Ryan Stasik, of the prolific rock band Umphrey’s McGee.
Maggie Rose is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter who has dreamed up her own unbridled collision of rock n’roll, soul, folk, funk, and R&B. She has also performed at iconic festivals such as Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Americana Music Festival, Country Thunder, Newport Folk Fest, Peach Fest and has performed at the Grand Ole Opry over 100 times. The GRAMMY® Award-winning quintet—Andy Falco [guitar], Chris Pandolfi [banjo], Andy Hall [dobro], Jeremy Garrett [fiddle], and Travis Book [double bass]—have musical influences that truly run the gamut, but their common denominator is certainly bluegrass— the sound that has in essence defined the course of their career. The Infamous Stringdusters stand out as the rare group who can team up with contemporary artists on late night television one night and headline the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre or perform alongside The Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh the next, and have recently emerged as proprietors behind their newly found independent record label, Americana Vibes.

SHOW UPDATE: Due to popular demand at this Saturday's On The Border - the Ultimate Eagles Tribute show at The Refinery we will be allowing patrons to bring chairs into the venue. Come sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! Music starts at 7pm. Tickets are available online and at the door! See you soon Charleston!
On the Border - The Ultimate Eagles Tribute pulls it off as well as ANY great Tribute can, treating fans to an authentic concert experience while journeying through The Eagles songbook. The band covers every big hit, from ballads such as “Desperado” and “Lyin’ Eyes” to rockin’ hits such as “Life in the Fast Lane” and “Heartache Tonight” with such accuracy, that listeners may permanently confuse “On the Border” with the real Eagles! It’s truly a masterful sound to witness for yourself. Hitting major concert venues, casinos & festivals around the country, they created so much of a buzz, that in 2015 AXSTV’s hit show, “The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands” came calling for them to perform Live on TV at the famous “Whisky a Go Go” in LA.
A Note From Sam-- The music that my father David Grisman and his close friend, Jerry Garcia, made in the early 90s (in the house that I grew up in) is not only some of the most timeless acoustic music ever recorded, it also triggers my oldest and fondest musical memories. What I find most inspiring about this material is the way their camaraderie and their love and joy for the music, simply oozes out of each recording. It is also impressive how deeply they get beneath their favorite songs—whether they are originals, covers or traditional/old time tunes—and how expertly that material was curated.
My goal in starting Sam Grisman Project is to build a platform for my friends and me to showcase our genuine passion and appreciation for the legacy of Dawg and Jerry’s music. By playing some of their beloved repertoire and sharing the original music that our own collective has to offer, we will also show the impact that this music has had on our own individual musical voices. Ultimately, there is nothing that makes me happier than playing great songs with my best friends and my hope is to share that happiness with audiences all over!”
